Certiva ApS is a Danish software company. We build IT security products for organisations that cannot afford to outsource their trust to a shared cloud halfway around the world.
Your data is yours
We build software on a single principle — your data belongs to you. Not to us, and certainly not to a third party. Certiva's business model is simple and refreshingly old-fashioned: you pay for a product, and that's the whole deal. We don't analyse your behaviour, we don't profile you, and we never sell your data to data brokers or ad networks. Data protection isn't a feature we bolt on — it's the business model.
That stands in sharp contrast to the model behind the ad-funded tech giants, where the product is ‘free’ because you are the product. Your data is harvested, linked and sold. We reject that trade-off. At Certiva, you are the customer, not the product.
Security software too often asks you to ship your most sensitive data into a shared, multi-tenant cloud outside the EU — and simply trust that it stays private. We think that trade-off is the wrong way round. Certiva builds tools where European hosting and customer isolation are the foundation, not an enterprise upsell.
